The Band
Johnny Possum (formerly known as Johnny Possums Good Time Hootin' band - but it really was a mouthful) plays a style of music that fuses the best elements of bluegrass, folk, old time country and alt country. You'll hear banjo, mandolin, fiddle, guitar and upright (or "doghouse") bass as well as some tight 3 part harmonies.
Playing solidly throughout New Zealand, Australia and the USA the band has developed a dedicated and growing fan base. The band has also been nominated for national and international music awards.
